Pat Schwieters
GENERAL MANAGER
Pat joined JL Schwieters in 2011 in the Sales Department. With over 20 years in management roles in the construction industry, Pat was promoted to General Manager in 2017. Pat graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Construction Management. Pat is involved with day to day operations, as well as overseeing strategic planning for opening of the new Truss Division. In his free time, Pat enjoys hunting and spending time with his wife and two boys.

Blake Schwieters
PLANT MANAGER
Blake has been with JL Schwieters since 2013. Blake graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Blake oversees all prefab operations in Hugo including supervision of employees, managing safety, track and organize project information and maintain costs per budget. Blake also helps implement strategies for continuous improvement, including the new truss division.

Jim Wenker
PRODUCTION MANAGER
Jim has over 35 years of experience with JL Schwieters, joining the team in 1984. Jim started as a Field Carpenter, working his way up to a Field Manager, and is currently a Production Manager. Jim coordinates between designers and foremen in the field to ensure compliance with architectural design, service quality, and productivity. Jim’s vast experience in the field makes him the “go to” for new foremen in the field.

Cory Hemme
TRUSS OPERATIONS MANAGER
Cory joined JL Schwieters in 2018 but brings over 20 years of experience in the truss industry. Cory received his degree in Architectural Construction Technology and Estimating from St. Cloud Technical College. Cory has experience in truss design, sales and operation management. At JL Schwieters, Cory works alongside our production team to grow a detailed design team to offer a well-designed truss package.

Ryan Spanier
PRODUCTION MANAGER
Ryan has 20 years of experience working at JL Schwieters, starting in 1999. Ryan graduated from St. John’s University with a degree in Social Sciences. Ryan joined JL Schwieters as a Personnel Director and has moved his way to Production Manager. Ryan oversees the documentation and progression of each job site, coordinating all activities to ensure jobs are done on time and within budget.

Leslie Grays
ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Leslie brings over 30 years of experience with JL Schwieters, starting in 1989. Leslie joined JL Schwieters as the first administrative personnel and has watched the company grow and is now the Accounting Manager. She oversees all of the accounting responsibilities including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and many more. Leslie is a huge sports fan, but her favorite is watching her daughter play soccer.

Kyle Shufelt
SAFETY DIRECTOR
Kyle joined JL Schwieters in 1993 as a field carpenter, after completing the Carpentry Program at Dakota County Technical College. Kyle earned his Advanced Safety Certificate from The National Safety Council in 1998. The U.S. Department of Labor recognizes him as an OSHA Construction Outreach Trainer. Kyle enjoys being part of an organization with such a strong commitment to the safety and health of its employees.
