Site Constraints: Powerlines and two bordering highways
This 133,480-square-foot, 128-unit multifamily project in Bloomington, Minnesota, presented unique logistical challenges, with powerlines on one side and major highways on two others. To navigate the constrained site, JL Schwieters strategically deployed two tower cranes and utilized pre-manufactured components—including parapets and floor panels—to streamline construction. The project commenced in March 2025 with a 13-week schedule, aiming for completion by June 2025.
