Project Requirements: Wall Panels, Floor Panels, Trusses, Loose Lumber Material
Avery Park in Maple Grove, MN is one of the most complex scopes JL Schwieters has delivered -- a large-scale residential community with 864 units that required two different framing solutions running simultaneously on the same development.
For the single-family homes across the community, JL Schwieters supplied customized wall panel and truss packages: components manufactured at our Hugo, MN facility and delivered ready to install, so the builder's framing crews could move quickly from lot to lot without building walls from scratch in the field.
For the 174 townhomes, we delivered a full turnkey framing package -- wall panels, floor panels, trusses, and installation by our own employee crew. Two different product lines, two different scopes, one coordinated partner managing both on a tight, interconnected schedule.
That kind of coordination -- managing prefab component supply and turnkey installation simultaneously across a community of this scale -- is something very few framing contractors in Minnesota can execute. JL Schwieters has the manufacturing capacity, the crew depth, and the long-standing builder relationships to make it work.
Our partnership with the Avery Park builder spans well before this project. That history means we understand how they build, what they expect, and how to keep a high-volume residential schedule moving without the delays that come from a framing partner who is figuring things out as they go.

A wall panel package means JL Schwieters manufactures and delivers your prefabricated wall panels and trusses to the job site -- your crew installs them. A turnkey framing package means we manufacture the components and our own employee crews install them. On large communities like Avery Park, the right choice for each building type depends on the builder's crew capacity, schedule, and scope complexity. We can supply one or both.

A long-standing partnership with the builder was the foundation -- we understand how they sequence work and what they need before they have to ask. We backed that up with in-house manufacturing at our Hugo facility that could produce wall panels and trusses at the volume and pace the community required, and delivery coordination that kept components arriving in the right order across an active, multi-phase job site.
